Ray is a fine art photographer and Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society. His work has been exhibited widely in the UK and abroad. He is a retired lecturer in photography and well known author of many books and articles on photography. His work is diverse but is concentrating on his love of plants and natural forms using a unique Victorian process called Wetplate Collodion photography.
