Amanda I’Anson

Textile and mixed media artist, specialising in a Japanese form of Creative Weaving. Amanda’s work is inspired by traces and memories of the past: weathered wood; rusty surfaces; darned, stained and patched cloth; and old photos/ephemera. She uses a variety of repurposed and found materials in her wallhangings, assemblages, collages and soft sculptures. Amanda teaches SAORI weaving in her studio in Daventry.
