I am inspired by nature in all its forms. I specialise in British birds, ancient woodlands and delicate butterflies that inhabit them. My work has evolved over time from drawing the wolves I used to help look after, to focusing on quieter, more intimate aspects of nature closer to home. With over 50 years of experience as an artist and teacher, I have received many awards for my work and regularly serve as a judge for art organisations. I have been teaching weekly drawing and painting classes for over 20 years in Dunchurch and surrounding areas. Working in watercolour and graphite I aim to create sensitive atmospheric images reflecting the fragility of the natural world.
